Insurance & Reimbursement
Buzz Speech is a private-pay pediatric speech therapy practice. Families pay for services at the time of each session. Upon request, we provide a detailed superbill that may be submitted to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Because every insurance plan is different, reimbursement cannot be guaranteed. We recommend checking your individual out-of-network benefits directly with your insurance provider.
How Out-of-Network Reimbursement Works
Pay for your services
Payment is collected directly by Buzz Speech at the time of service.
Receive a Superbill
Upon request, we can provide a detailed superbill containing the information typically needed to submit a claim to your insurance company.
Submit to Your Insurance
You submit the superbill to your insurance plan for possible out-of-network reimbursement. The amount reimbursed depends on your individual benefits.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Plan
Do I have out-of-network benefits for speech therapy?
Do I have an out-of-network deductible?
What percentage of the allowed amount will my plan reimburse?
Is CPT code 92507 (speech-language treatment) covered under my plan?
Does my plan require a physician referral or prior authorization?
Are home, daycare, or preschool speech therapy services eligible for reimbursement?
How do I submit a superbill?
Insurance coverage varies by plan. Providing a superbill does not guarantee reimbursement, and families are responsible for confirming their individual benefits directly with their insurance provider.
HSA & FSA
Buzz Speech accepts HSA and FSA cards as payment for eligible speech therapy services.
