Melissa Maniches is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and the founder of Buzz Speech LLC, a pediatric speech therapy practice serving children and families in South Orange and surrounding New Jersey communities. She specializes in early language development and provides individualized, family-centered care to support young children’s communication skills.

Melissa has over a decade of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Early Intervention, private practice, and school-based settings. She earned her B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Communication Disorders from The College of New Jersey and went on to receive her M.A. in Speech-Language Therapy from Montclair State University.

Throughout her career, Melissa has worked with children from infancy through adolescence, with a primary focus on toddlers and preschool-aged children. Her approach emphasizes meeting children where they are, supporting communication in natural environments, and coaching parents and caregivers so progress continues beyond each session.

As a mother of two young children herself, Melissa understands the importance of listening to families, answering questions, and providing practical, supportive strategies that fit into everyday routines. She is passionate about building strong relationships with families and helping children develop confidence in their communication.

Melissa is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and actively participates in continuing education to stay current on evidence-based practices in pediatric speech and language intervention.
